Changelog

This page provides a running history of changes to StereumLabs documentation, dashboards, metrics, datasets, integrations and methodologies.
Each update is logged as soon as it's applied, even small or internal adjustments. This keeps changes transparent and reproducible.

We use a continuous changelog model instead of discrete version releases. Each entry includes the date, category, and short description.

Changes​

Landing page & navigation​

  • Redesigned the landing page to put the blog front and center: featured-posts section with thumbnails, dedicated personas section, methodology trust strip, and a final CTA with RSS / contact links.
  • Added a Start here section with audience-specific entry points: For Operators, For Home Stakers, For Researchers, and For Client Teams.
  • Expanded the footer with Docs / Resources / Community / StereumLabs columns; added Topics, Product, and RSS links to the navbar.

New reference pages​

  • Added a Glossary covering Ethereum protocol, client-architecture, and StereumLabs-specific terms.
  • Added an Architecture & data flow page documenting the per-host instrumentation, Prometheus tiers, and datasource access by plan.
  • Added an FAQ covering access, methodology, operations, and practical questions.
  • Added a Support & SLA page with support channels, response-time expectations by plan (draft), incident handling, and security-disclosure process.

Plans & pricing​

  • Reworked the Plans page to use a concrete datasource-access matrix and dashboard counts (24 standard MigaLabs dashboards) instead of the previous "few / some / all" wording. Free Pro-tier access offered to researchers and client-development teams.
  • Added a row for custom dashboards on request (Pro tier, fair-use basis) and DEBUG-level client logs (shorter retention than INFO) to the plans table.
  • Added a row for direct API access, available as an Enterprise-only feature tailored individually.

Dashboards & data​

  • Updated the Dashboards Catalog with direct links to every active Grafana dashboard at https://grafana.stereumlabs.com.
  • Rewrote Build your own dashboards with the full datasource UID table, scrape-interval and active-job inventory, and ready-to-use PromQL examples (resource utilization, peer counts, sync, cross-fleet comparators).
  • Documented the planned tba_config_name label as not yet live; until it lands, scenarios are identified by (deployment, cc_client, ec_client, *_version) tuples.

Methodology​

  • Added a Citing StereumLabs section to Purpose & Scope with a citation template and pointers for archival/DOI requests.
  • Updated homepage methodology stats with live fleet numbers (43 active client configurations across 168 hosts, 24 public dashboards).

Cleanup​

  • Cleaned up TBA/TBD placeholders in the Dashboards overview and Build your own. Submissions now go via email.
  • Fixed Docusaurus config placeholders (production URL, org name, project name, site tagline).
